The RVMES (pronounced ‘The Rooms’) are a fiercely active alternative rock band based out of Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. Born in 2018, The RVMES brings a sharp edge to the music scene with strong hooks, big energy and a truly unique sound honed from the experimentation with funk, rock, soul, and other eclectic flavours.

Over the past 6 years, The RVMES have showed off an addictive work ethic, releasing their first self-titled album ‘The RVMES’ in 2019, their sophomore album ‘Lifetime’ in 2021, and their third album ‘Simple Things’ in 2022, all which sits amongst a collection of 10 singles.

Out of everything, it’s The RVMES stage presence that sets the bar, boasting an explosive live performance with solid crowd interaction. One minute you’re at the front, bouncing hard to a rock anthem and the next you’re hit with a gypsy groove and doing laps around the venue in a huge conga line led by the frontman and bassist. Moments like this have been crafted over 4 national tours, a smorgasbord of local shows and festival slots like AUM festival, TSB Festival Of Lights, Okura Forest Festival and River Sounds Festival to name a few.
